What makes Total Motion Physical Therapy different from other PT clinics?
Most physical therapy treats where it hurts. Total Motion Release works differently — we identify pain-free movement on the non-painful side of your body to rapidly restore motion and relieve pain on the affected side. It is an evidence-based approach co-developed by our lead therapist, and most patients feel better after their first visit.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We are in-network with most major insurance plans including Medicare, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. We also accept Workers Compensation and attorney-referred cases. Our team verifies and explains your benefits before treatment begins so there are no surprises.
What conditions do you see most often?
People come to us when they are dealing with low back pain, neck pain, shoulder issues, hip pain, sciatica, knee problems, and more — often after other treatments have not provided lasting relief. We also work with post-surgical patients and Workers Compensation cases.
How long does treatment take?
It depends on the nature and history of your condition. Many patients notice significant improvement after the first visit. The number of sessions is determined through objective testing at every appointment so your plan is based on your progress, not a preset number of visits.
What is Total Motion Release?
Total Motion Release (TMR) is the evidence-based technique at the core of everything we do. Created around 2002 and co-developed by our lead therapist Chip Moseley, TMR uses pain-free movements on the non-affected side of the body to relieve pain and restore function rapidly.
